“The Woman” 2011- a review

The movie tells the story of a Nell-like wildling woman who intersects with “civilization.” Unfortunately for her, “civilization” is in the form of a control-freaky lawyer (Sean Bridgers) who captures her and takes her home to the fam.

The lawyer chains her up in his bunker/cellar and hilarity ensues. As the film progresses, we are treated to a thinly veiled didactic feminist tale; stereotype upon stereotype stack for the director to make his point.
