Indie Horror Film ‘Sting’ Now In Production

The new horror/thriller ‘Sting’ is set to begin production this month from Lakeshore Pictures.

This film was written and directed by Alex Aronson, former writer for PLAYWITHDEATH.COM, and fresh off international award winning horror short What Comes From Within, winner of “Best horror/thriller” at the International Short Film Festival Hollywood.

Shooting began in June on Friday the 13th in New York and is scheduled to wrap this summer. This will be the debut feature for the Lakeshore Pictures Entertainment Company.

Here’s the synopsis:

‘After three girls rob a convenience store on a drug fueled rampage, they set out on a cross country road trip. They soon after get in a terrible car accident but luckily for them are assisted by a helpful stranger. The plot thickens however as this stranger starts to unravel becoming deadly and the girls quickly learn that revenge can be a killer. Just when you think you know how it will all go down the plot twists will keep you guessing and you’ll be on the edge of your seat until the final bloody end!’

Horror Film ‘Sting’ From Lakeshore Pictures Coming in 2015

Sounds exciting right? Especially when Pro WWE Wrestler Spazman Simmons will personally be in charge of handling and coordinating the fight scenes!

Erika Langworthy and Taylor Lee, star of  Best Horror Film What Comes From Within at the International Short Film Fest Hollywood, will both star in this new indie thriller. Taylor Lee will be playing the part of Jada. Erika Langworthy plays the role of Megan. Also appearing in the film are Mandy Mae as Lindsay, Kenny Yohonn as Christian, Mario Visic as Mick, and Jessica Bell as Ashley.
